Launched in August 2001, reBOOT Auctions is the latest initiative taken by reBOOT Canada to provide access to technology to all of Canada. With locations in Vancouver and Kelowna British Columbia, Calgary Alberta, Peterborough Ontario, and two in Toronto Ontario, reBOOT Canada continues to refurbish computer equipment that would otherwise be destined for landfill.

reBOOT Auctions was created because some of our equipment that is of value, but of no use to our customers, was collecting dust in our Toronto warehouse. This online auction allows the public to bid on some of our more obscure and interesting equipment. Items posted on the auction are first offered to the charitable groups that we support, and all proceeds from the auction help us to continue to reboot Canada.

In March 2001, the Recycling Council of Ontario, recognizing our commitment to redistribution of computer equipment, awarded us the Outstanding Non-Profit Award of 2000 for their Waste Minimization Awards.
